Generation Erasmus+

Erasmus+ supports transnational partnerships among Education, Training, and Youth institutions and organisations to foster cooperation and bridge the worlds of Education and work in order to tackle the skills gaps we are facing in Europe.

It also supports national efforts to modernise Education, Training, and Youth systems. In the field of Sport, there is support for grassroots projects and cross-border challenges such as combating match-fixing, doping, violence and racism.

Erasmus+ brings together seven existing EU programmes in the fields of Education, Training, and Youth; it is for the first time provided support for Sport. As an integrated programme, Erasmus+ offers more opportunities for cooperation across the Education , Training , Youth , and Sport  sectors and is easier to access than its predecessors, with simplified funding rules.

Testimonials

“This mobility in Portugal completelly change me from all perspectives. We are used to be overprotected by our families and to have everything done without big worries and that doesn`t really prepare us for real life. In Portugal during the 4 weeks of practice I had the opportunity to share a flat with my colleagues, be responsible for cooking my food, organize my daily life and be responsible to arrive everyday on time on the work. Also I understood the difference between a job and a work and how motivated we must be in order to grow as professionals. I show many interest and my colleagues at work teach me a lot. By that was a good experience that I will remember always. In addition Portugal is wonderful country with really nice weather.”

“... the presentation from the director of PT Foundation, which was very interesting, enlightening and mostly friendly with a paternal aura which had a great impact in the students...”
